Will I be the only woman in the class?
No. Female students accounted for roughly 60% or more of every class we had in 2013.
Do you offer classes for "Women Only"?
Yes we have, but it seems like husbands like to attend too,  The lessons and techniques we teach apply to everyone for every situation.  If you desire a Women's only class with a Women Instructor, Beth Mynes will teach your class.
Do you provide semi-automatics for the Basic Pistol Class?
Yes.  as well as a revolver.  All we ask is that you are willing to cover the cost of ammunition if you need to use one of our firearms.  Contact us in advance so we discuss this one-on-one for more details.
What is the minimum age requirement?
For our NRA Classes we do not allow persons under the age of 18. Handgun laws stipulate the age for ownership in Nationally is 21.  We will teach you the classes but you may need to inquire with your county sherrif if they have a certification requirement as to how old the class may be of you goal is to obtain a conceal carry permit.
How do I dress?
You will be outdoors, at a range or field with grass, dirt or gravel walking areas. Wear comfortable shoes, shorts or pants, short-sleeve or tee shirts. Wear or bring layers as the weather can change from morning to afternoon.

What do I need to bring to the range with me?
A hat and sunblock is recommended during warm weather. If you have sunglasses or prescription glasses, bring them. If you have ear protection, bring it. If not, we will provide eye and ear protection at no additional charge.   The lunch break is normally one hour (from classroom to range trip) and may be eliminated if your class is small and finishes sooner than a large class would.

When I know what classes I want to take, what do I do?
When you are ready to ENROLL for a class, visit our Class schedules page and click on the "Enroll" link for the class you would like to take. You will complete the enrollment by following the instructions, pay online via paypal or credit card, then upon receipt of payment, we will e-mail you confirming your attendance.  As the class approaches, we will keep you informed of changes via email if needed, such as  supply details needed for class, and provide directions to the range.

What happens if I sign up for a class, pay online, but can't make it?
We want to be fair, but no refunds are given. Once a class is full, we have to turn away others who would like to attend. If you cancel too close to class, or fail to show up for class, you keep someone else from attending and would cost us a student. Please be sure you can attend a class before signing up for it. We believe this policy is fair to you, to other students, and to us. If you contact us regarding an "emergency reason" for the cancellation, we will apply your deposit to the next available class in your area. If you cannot attend then, you will need to re-register.

What happens if it's raining the day of the class?
The ranges are outdoors. Heavy snow or rain may cancel class due to unsafe conditions on the road or the range. Unless notified the night before, classes will be held as scheduled.
